On the morning of July 28th, 2023, at Hoai Tan Industrial Park, Hoai Nhon Town, Binh Dinh Province, Idemitsu Green Energy Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Japan) officially held the Inauguration Ceremony of the first Black Wood Pellet Plant in Vietnam.
The project has a total investment of nearly USD 30 million and is built on an area of 8 hectares. TTCL Vietnam Co., Ltd. (TVC) is honored to serve as the EPC General Contractor for this meaningful project. This is also the world’s first large-scale commercial black pellet factory utilizing heating technology, with a production capacity of 120,000 tons per year of Idemitsu Green Energy Pellets (IGEP) and 36,000 m³ per year of processed wood, all exported to the Japanese market.
After one year of implementation, thanks to the spirit of overcoming challenges and the smooth coordination between the investor, IGEV, and the EPC General Contractor, TTCL Vietnam Co., Ltd., the Wood Pellet Factory invested by Idemitsu Green Energy Vietnam Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd.) has officially gone into operation.
To reach this significant milestone, TVC has received tremendous support from the local authorities, IGEV’s project team and board of directors, as well as the dedication and cooperation of subcontractors under the close supervision of the General Contractor. TVC is extremely proud to have collaborated with IGEV on this green factory construction project. The construction of environmentally friendly buildings is a positive signal contributing to sustainable development and the establishment of a green industrial network in Vietnam.
Once again, congratulations on the successful completion of the project, which affirms the strong cooperative relationship between TVC and IGEV. All commitments have been fulfilled through resilience and the tireless efforts of the TVC team.
