THE BIOLOGICAL POND SYSTEM PROJECT

Biological pond system will be constructed for the purpose of providing additional treatment/ emergency containment of wastewater which has been treated from Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) of the Refinery before being discharged into the sea and so preventing environmental incidents caused by waste water. Main Process System: With Pond system include 05 Ponds: Incident Pont (ET-1) depth of 4m with volume of 5,015m3; Biological Pond No. 1 (SP-1) has a volume of 23,081 m3 and Biological Pond No. 2(SP-2) has a volume of 30,955 m3 and Biological Pond No. 3 (SP-3) has a volume of 39,375m3 and have an equivalent depth of 2.5m, Constructed Wetland Pond (CW-1) and Fish Indication Pond. In addition, has Electrical & Instrument house, Pump Station… Utilities, facilities system include: circulation water system, water filter package, air blowing system, CCTV system, Lighting, Earthing, FFT System, Fire Alarm System Communication System, Instrument Control system, Power management System. Other infrastructure such as Fence, Road, Drainage system, Safety handrail, Cable trench and duct bank
