On July 9 2022, On July 9, 2022, at Tan Phu Thanh Industrial Park, Chau Thanh A District, Hau Giang Province, the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the “New Betalactam Factory Meets Global GMP Standards”. The Owner, Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock company expects this to be one of the projects that contributes to promote the economic development of Hau Giang province in particular and the Mekong Delta area.
Attending the Groundbreaking Ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, Deputy Director of the Drug Administration of Vietnam; Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr Dong Van Thanh. From DHG Pharmaceutical, the presence of Ms. Dang Thi Thu Ha – Chairwoman of the BOD of DHG, Mr. Masashi Nakaura – General Director of DHG, Mr. Doan Dinh Duy Khuong – CEO of DHG, Mr. Tomoyuki Kawata – Deputy General Director of Production, Supply Chain and Technology Transfer of DHG – Project Leader, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Diep – Deputy General Director of Production, Supply Chain of DHG.
Main Contractor – TTCL Vietnam Corporation Limited (TVC) was honored to be selected to execute and manage the overall project. Mr. Hironobu Iriya, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TTCL Public Company Limited/TTCL Vietnam Corporation Limited, representative of Contractor participated the Groundbreaking Ceremony.
The project “New Betalactam Factory Meets Global GMP Standards” was built on an area of 06 hectares, including the main factory, office building (QC area, utilities) and ancillary items. With production lines: “Line of film-coated tablets; Film coated tablet production line; Hard capsule chain; Powder drug production line for oral suspension; The line of granules mixed with oral suspension”. The new Beta-lactam factory has a design capacity of nearly double the current factory.
The production technology processes, workshop layout, utilities and other systems of pharmaceutical factories comply with EU-GMP, Japan-GMP and PIC/S-GMP requirements. In schedule, the project will operate commercial in 2024.
TVC commits to continue accompany with DHG to deliver the completion of Project, to achieve SAFETY, QUALITY and ON SCHEDULE, to meet expectation from Owner.
