COMMERCIAL OPERATION OF BLACK WOOD PELLET PLANT IN VIETNAM.

The project has a total investment of nearly USD 30 million and is built on an area of 8 hectares at Hoai Tan Industrial Cluster, Binh Dinh Province. TTCL Vietnam Co., Ltd. (TVC) is honored to serve as the EPC General Contractor for this meaningful project. The plant is Vietnam’s first commercial scale Black Pellet (BP) production facility, with an annual production capacity of 120,000 tons/year, ranking among the largest in the world. The Black Pellets produced at this plant , branded as Idemitsu Green Energy Pellet™ (“IGEP”), will be supplied as an alternative fuel to coal, primarily to support Japanese coal customers in achieving their decarbonization goals.

After more than a year of trial operation, thanks to the spirit of overcoming challenges and the smooth coordination between the Investor (IGEV) and the EPC General Contractor (TVC), the Black Pellet Plant has officially commenced operation as of October 8th, 2025.

To achieve this significant milestone, TVC received tremendous support from local authorities, IGEV’s project team and board of directors, as well as the dedication and cooperation of subcontractors under the close supervision of the General Contractor. TVC is extremely proud to have collaborated with IGEV on this green factory construction project. The construction of environmentally friendly facilities is a positive signal, contributing to sustainable development and the establishment of a green industrial network in Vietnam.

Once again, congratulations on the successful completion of the project, which affirms the strong cooperative relationship between TVC and IGEV. All commitments have been fulfilled through the resilience and tireless efforts of the TVC team.
