Overcoming competitors , TTCL Viet Nam company ( referred to as TVC) with more than 22 years of experience in Vietnam and Southeast Asia markets in the field of project management and construction has met the requirments and targets, criteria that Tetra Pak offers. Since then, Tetra Pak investor has trusted and selected TVC as the project management contractor for the new factory (Greenfiled Factory).
For desgin work, Tetra Pak has used the basic desgin team (Sweden) as a collection of units that have been involved in designing Tetra Pak in 44 project worldwide including 6 Tetra Pak factories in Sweden. However, the contractor managing the host country must be responsible for checking the basic desgin, considering it in accordance with current standards, legal regulations and implementing construction desgin to meet the law of host country. In addition, Tetra Pak also applies FM standard and fire prevention desgin for the project. Much of the work, information is exchanged e –mail, video calls, plus a large time zone diffrence between Northern Europe and Sountheast Asia. With a huge amount of work, about 400 construction drawings and 3200 ME drawings, combined with very high standard of material and equipment are from European countries.
Combining the above factors, Tetra Pak project is considered a verry big challenge for the project management team in particual and TVC in general.
Moreover, during the project implementation, Tetra Pak management decided to apply LEED GOLD version 4 for the whole project is also a high technical requirement for desgin, purchase and management public. This project is the first project in Vietnam, the 14th in the world and the first in the world to achieve LEED GOLD version 4 standard.

Another great challenge is the construction progress that the investor sets out in this project. In just 6 months with most supplies and equipment must be imported from abroad (Europe). This is the shortest construction time worldwide of 44 Tetra Pak factories.
Especially, the structure of Laminator machine foundation has construction time wihin 60 days along with the highest construction standards in the world today that Vietnamese contractors as well ass TVC must understand all technical requirments, meticulousness from contruction methods, ways of coordination, risk management, quality perfection. Once again TVC has to face and overcome a tough challenge.
