COVID-19 is causing unprecedented difficulties and damages are listed by the “numerical sequence”, affecting significantly to all industries including construction. For TVC, keeping well deployment the construction site in disease season is a big challenge, including the Shwe Lin Pan (SLP) Depot project site in Myanmar.

Although from the beginning of the year until now, the flight lockdown status has not been removed, all managers and supervisors at the construction site are not allowed to take home leave, the support from the head office is only remoted, but the construction site is still deployed to meet the set schedule. In the spirit of joining hands with Myanmar to prevent COVID-19 epidemic, TVC has seriously implemented control and prevention measures according to Myanmar health requirements as well as propagandizing knowledge about prevention spread of disease at the project.

 

 

The project team considers this a challenge to be overcome to once again prove that TVC deserves to be one of the leading prestigious EPC contractors, demonstrating through outstanding milestones such as: foundations have been completed and ready to be transferred for construction of site erection tanks, the steel structure of Pipe rack, Pipe Bridge and pump house have been manufactured, shipped from Vietnam and erected with 50% progress, 100% of the onshore piles has been pressed.

 

Maintaining activities propagandizing prevention the spread of COVID-19, as well as labor safety to ensure the health of the workers and technical staffs is identified as the top priority of the site. TVC’s Top Managers and colleagues will always support and cheer the spirit for the Shwe Lin Pan (SLP) Depot project at Myanmar to be completed successfully in this challenging situation.
