Celebration of 800,000 safety hours project VF003

On 7 May 2019, TTCL Vietnam held a ceremony to mark the achievement of 800,000 safe hours at the construction site of the Denko Thilawa Oil Tank Storage Terminal Project. The ceremony welcomed the attendance of the Board of Directors of Denko Investor, advised PMC Surbana Jurong and leaders of TTCL Vietnam General Contractor, leaders of subcontractors and all officers and employees on the construction site project.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ko Ko Kyaw Director of Denko trading emphasized: Safety & quality is the first criterion of Owner when deciding to choose EPC general contractor. And the fact has proved that TTCL Vietnam meets all strict requirements of safety and quality for the project with professionalism, dedication and abundant energy at work. Owner and consultants PMC highly appreciated TTCL’s efforts and achievements from the first day of work until the achievement of 800,000 safe hours. The Owner believes that with a professional working attitude, determination, compliance of the EPC general contractor and 750 employees of subcontractors, TTCL Vietnam will complete the project in accordance with the target “Safety – Quality – Progress – Effect” as expected by the Owner.

Besides, he also expressed his opinion, “When this project ends successfully, Denko can really help Myanmar in the field of energy in terms of distribution of different fuels nationwide. Moreover, in the future, tankers can dock at Denko port bridge and store oil in the tanks on the ground effectively. These factors can really boost the country’s energy sector as one of the main commercial aspects”.

Once again TTCL Vietnam is very proud of what it has achieved and is growing more and more in the future.

The ceremony ended in the joy and determination of the Owner, PMC, TVC, and subcontractors as a promise and affirmed the value of TTCL Vietnam on the way to become an international EPC contractor.
