On November 8th, 2023, at Tan Phu Thanh Industrial Park, Chau Thanh A District, Hau Giang Province. The EPC Contractor Joint Venture of the New Beta-lactam Factory Project that meets global GMP standards; TTCL Vietnam – Cofico – Searefico performed the signing ceremony of the factory handover to the Investor Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.
Attending the ceremony, there was the presence of the Board of Directors of DHG Pharma including Mr. Toshiyuki Ishii – General Director, Mr. Doan Dinh Duy Khuong – General Director, Mr. Tomoyuki Kawata – Deputy General Director in charge of Engineering – Supply Chain and Technology Transfer, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Diep – Deputy General Director in charge of Production and Quality.
On the side of the Contractor Consortium, there were the presence of Ms. Bui Boi Hai – General Director, Mr. Ho Dac Tuan – Deputy General Director of TTCL Vietnam Co., Ltd; Mr. Le Dang Xu – Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Dang Vinh – General Director of Construction Joint Stock Company No. 1; Mr. Tran Dinh Muoi – Deputy General Director of Searafico Joint Stock Company.
The project started construction on July 9, 2022, over the past 12 months with all the efforts of the Consortium members in design, procurement and construction. The Contractor Consortium, led by TTCL Vietnam Company, has completed more than 1,000 technical documents, purchased more than 83 equipment and material packages, constructed 6,500m3 of concrete and installed more than 800 equipment, prepared GMP documents including design qualification (DQ), installation qualification (IQ), operation qualification (OQ) for the Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system, compressed air system, clean water system, CSV system, BMS system, EMS, and built to complete the project to meet the expectations of the Investor.
As a pharmaceutical company, DHG Pharma’s mission is to protect the health of Vietnamese people. The products manufactured at this Beta-lactam factory are very important medicines for life. This new factory will help DHG Pharma provide the Vietnamese market with high-quality medicines manufactured according to global standards. This is also a factory serving the strategy of expanding export business and further highlighting the brand name of DHG in the market.
TTCL Vietnam is very pleased to cooperate with Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and participate in the project with all the experience of the EPC General Contractor in Vietnam accumulated over the past 26 years, especially in the field of clean rooms, pharmaceuticals with domestic and international GMP requirements.
“I believe that one of the most difficult factories to build in the pharmaceutical field is the Beta-lactam drug factory. To build a factory like this, it is important that the Consortium and the investor have formed a unified entity, coordinated smoothly, and implemented the project with great trust. I am satisfied that the factory has been completed as expected; and during the implementation of the project, the Consortium has always shown its trust as well as its spirit of outstanding efforts until the completion of the project”. Also at this special ceremony, the representative of the Contractor Consortium, Mrs. Bui Boi Hai – General Director of TTCL Vietnam Company Limited, sent her sincere thanks to Hau Giang Pharmaceutical for closely coordinating with the Contractor throughout the project implementation process, and thanked the joint contractors Cofico and Searefico for cooperating with TTCL Vietnam to achieve today’s results.
With the completion and handover of the new Betalactam factory project meeting global GMP standards to Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, TTCL Vietnam continues to affirm its capacity and gain more experience to continue conquering similar projects in the future.
