The Investment Project for the Construction of a High-Tech Waste-to-Energy Municipal Solid Waste Treatment Plant, developed by Thang Long Energy Environment JSC, is located in Phu Lang Commune, Que Vo District, Bac Ninh Province. The plant has a waste treatment capacity of 600 tons per day and a power generation capacity of up to 11.6 MWh. The project employs the most advanced technologies for waste treatment and power generation, provided by Finnish technology suppliers BMH Technology Oy and Valmet Technologies Oy.
On May 29th, 2024, the project’s main contractor, TTCL Vietnam Co., Ltd., in collaboration with PECC8, successfully energized the 22kV substation and transmission line, officially connecting the plant to the national power grid.
This marks a significant milestone toward the full operation of the plant in 2024. Let us all celebrate this proud achievement.
