On March 26, 2024, Thang Long Energy Environment Joint Stock Company and EPC General Contractor TTCL Vietnam Co., Ltd. were honored to welcome the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Finland to attend the signing ceremony of the certificate of completion of the construction of the Bac Ninh High-Tech Solid Waste Treatment Plant for Energy Generation Project.
The Investment Project for the Construction of a High-Tech Domestic Solid Waste Treatment Plant for Energy Generation is invested by Thang Long Energy Environment Joint Stock Company in Phu Lang Commune, Que Vo District, Bac Ninh Province. The project has a capacity to process 600 tons of waste/day, with a power generation capacity of up to 11.6MWh. The project applies the most advanced technology for waste treatment and power generation from Finnish technology suppliers BMH Technology Oy, Valmet Technologies Oy. After more than 2 years of implementation, TTCL Vietnam has completed all construction and installation work and is ready for trial operation and moving towards full operation of the plant in 2024.
Attending the signing ceremony, the Investor Thang Long Energy Environment Joint Stock Company and the EPC General Contractor TTCL Vietnam Co., Ltd. were honored and proud to welcome Mr. Jussi Halla-aho, President of the Finnish Parliament; Mr. Keijo Norvanto, Ambassador of Finland to Vietnam; Mr. Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly; Leaders of Bac Ninh province with the presence of Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Dao Quang Khai, Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee; along with members of the Finnish Parliament and leaders of departments and branches of Bac Ninh province.
On the Investor side, there was the presence of Mr. Dao Xuan Thanh representing the Investor; Mr. Nguyen The Vinh, General Director. On the TTCL Vietnam General Contractor side, there was the participation of Ms. Bui Boi Hai, General Director; Mr. Ho Dac Tuan, Deputy General Director.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen The Vinh expressed his honor and gratitude for the attention of the Finnish Parliamentary Leaders, the support and facilitation of the Bac Ninh Provincial Leaders, and acknowledged the capacity and spirit of overcoming difficulties and efforts of the General Contractor of the Project, TTCL Vietnam Co., Ltd.
On behalf of the Bac Ninh Provincial Government, Mr. Dao Quang Khai highly appreciated the investment in the green energy project in Bac Ninh province, contributing to environmental protection, solving the problem of urban waste treatment in Bac Ninh, and on this occasion, he also sent his best wishes for the successful operation of the project, wishing for the bilateral relationship between Finland and Vietnam to develop more and more sustainably.
During the ceremony, witnessed by Mr. Jussi Halla-aho, President of the Finnish Parliament and Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, along with leaders and guests. Representatives of the Investor and the EPC General Contractor of the Project signed the minutes certifying the completion of construction and installation for the entire Project, this is an important milestone towards putting the Project into commercial operation.
The successful results of this Project will be a good opportunity to once again prove that TTCL Vietnam is the leading EPC General Contractor in Vietnam and a reliable Partner of Investors, contributing to bringing good value to the Project, to the Investor and to TTCL Vietnam Company Limited.
